Hoping to return to our convivial moments in the near future, here we are, fantasizing about how to organize a cozy home area dedicated to our guests! Among the most spectacular styles is the conversation pit, a space dedicated to dialoguing and board games that, between the 50s and 70s spread from the United States: it was housed in a box below the level of the floor to be accessed via steps! An example is to be found in the house of patron J. Irwin Miller, designed by Eero Saarinen and Alexander Girard in Columbus, Indiana, in 1958.
