date and location: 5 - 10 September, 2021, Milan, Italy
The 2021 edition of the famous Milan Salone del Mobile is the Italian reaction to one year and a half of pandemic emergency. The so-called Supersalone is a test for Italy and the first step towards normality.
Both the Triennale and the brand new ADI Museum are launching new exhibition dedicated to the Supersalone. The latter has put on Adi a two-part exhibition, set up at the museum as well as at the trade show in Rho, titled Take Your Seat by Nina Bassoli: an interpretation of the chair as a paradigm object, a symbol of social evolution and of our way of taking a stand. While, among the other exhibitions at the Triennale, we point out Fittile, an exhibition on Italian artistic craftsmanship in contemporary ceramics.
And you can't miss the Thee Lost Graduation Show, a layout curated by Anniina Koivu, that will showcase 170 student projects that graduated between 2020 and 2021. A year that (perhaps) wasn't lost after all.
