"There is always some old lady who stares at a kid making scary faces and saying stupid things in informal language: ciccì, coccò and piciupaciù. Usually the children look very sternly at these people who have grown old in vain; they don't understand what they want and go back to their games, simple and very serious games." - Bruno Munari
As father of the design method, Bruno Munari gave us the handbook to solve the problems of the creative process with his book Da cosa nasce cosa (One thing follows the other). He is among the designers who dedicated most time to creative production in all its aspects: from industrial design to graphics, from visual art to publishing, the areas are countless.
However, crucial remains his focus on studying and educating children through multiple and different approaches, sometimes creating educational toys for children or even playing with them in person in his didactic workshops.
Bruno Munari decided to work with children to raise better adults by stimulating their imagination and creativity.
