This moodboard takes us back to Christmas in 1923, exactly a century ago, by recreating an imaginary room in the midst of the "roaring Twenties". The space is adorned with a few extravagant and modern Art Deco details, mixed with a symphony of vibrant hues, gilded wooden elements and antique furniture draped in opulent, iridescent fabrics. The air is filled with the cheerful notes of a Charleston emanating from a piano, creating a lively atmosphere while an exchange of glittering gifts takes place in front of a warm, crackling fireplace. Part of the inspiration for this imaginary stage comes from a Christmas episode of TV drama Downton Abbey, capturing one side of last century's Christmas celebrations set in a period house.
