Axel Einar Hjorth was a major contributor to the internationally recognised Swedish design culture of the 1920s. His unique minimalist style heralded the Swedish modern movement. This simple, minimalist wooden bookcase was produced by Nordiska Kompaniet in the 1930s. Wooden frame with stained maple veneer, two adjustable shelves. Good condition, signs of wear due to age.
