"Market in Ghent", oil on panel by Edmond De Meulenaere (Koekelberg 1884- 1963). Eclectic post-impressionist artist, painter, draftsman, lithographer and engraver. He participated in the Salon des Armées in Paris and in Belgium at the Standaard in De Panne in 1916. He published a war lithographic album in 1924. His drawings are owned by the Municipality of Uccle. The painting is of good quality, with excellent color, material. It has no breaks or restorations. Signed lower left. The title of the work is on the back of the canvas. Measurements with frame length 46 cm, height 38 cm. Measurements without frame length 36 cm, height 28 cm.
