This remarkable fossil Original Mosasaur skull once belonged to a formidable 35-foot predator, measuring 27.5″ ! Mosasaurus, ancient reptiles that roamed the seas some 70 million years ago during the Cretaceous era, gained significant fame after their appearance in the Hollywood blockbuster, Jurassic World. With hinged jaws capable of expanding to engulf large prey, including other mosasaurs, sea turtles, and sharks, these creatures were formidable hunters. Their upper jaws boasted two sets of razor-sharp teeth, including curved ones that effectively ensnared their victims. Astonishingly, both sets of teeth are preserved in this exceptional mosasaur fossil.
