Item description

Artistic ceramic vase signed on one side below “Aretini Zulimo” (Novara 1884-1965) artist active at the “Fornaci di San Lorenzo” manufactory and later at Richard Ginori in Sesto Fiorentino. He also worked for other kilns, later opening his own. Depicted on the vase in the round is a scene of a young triton chasing a mermaid at sea. The colors are bright and vivid. It has no cracks or chips and no restoration. Italy 1950s. Height 42 cm, mouth and base diameter cm.16 belly diameter cm.26
