Item description

Painted oil on panel artist Albert Sirtine (Allemagne 1868- Verviers 1959) postimpressionist landscape painter. Studied at the Liège Academy, works in the museums of Liège and Vervieres. Colorist sensitive to light effects. The painting depicts a romantic foreshortening, with flowers with delicate features dotting dense green bushes. Intact, showing no breaks or restorations. Signed at lower right. Belgium 1950s. Board cm. 41 long, cm. 32 high. With frame cm. 53 length, cm. 44 height.
