Item description

Pair of bisque busts depicting one Marie Antoinette and the other her husband King Louis XVI. They rest on a die-cut column base in Blue Sevres porcelain with gold trim. Sevres manufacturing mark in cobalt blue below deck. Minimal and almost invisible restorations on the base of one of the two sculptures. France, second half of the 19th century. The dimensions are: height 32 cm, 17 x 10 cm.
