Ancient Italian painting from the 17th century. Oil work on canvas depicting a wonderful Holy Family. A painting of notable pictorial quality which can be found in particular in the masterful use of the chiaroscuro technique to give volume and three-dimensionality to the figures. We see in the center a splendid Madonna holding a very sweet baby Jesus in her arms. At the bottom right we recognize Saint John also thanks to one of his iconographic symbols, a stick surmounted by a small cross with the writing Ecce Agnus Dei. In the background on the left we can glimpse St. Joseph in the dim light. Spectacular 20th century frame in carved and gilded wood, with some signs of aging. Painting of considerable size, ideal for a large reception room. Painting already restored with relining, replacement of the frame and color recovery in small spots. Overall, the work is in excellent state of conservation. Painting light H 93 x W 130.5 cm.
