Bronze sculpture with engraving by Renda Giuseppe, a Calabrian artist born in Polistena (Reggio Calabria) on 11 December 1859 and died in Naples on 12 June 1939. He began to approach sculpture by working in the Morani brothers' workshop, in 1874 he moved to Naples and subsequently began studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples. Where he was a student of Tommaso Solari, Stanislao Lista and Gioacchino Toma. At the academy he won the admission competition to the Royal Institute of Fine Arts in Naples and began working in the Cacciapuoti and Scotti ceramics factory in Capodimonte, as a modeler of shepherds and figures. Sculpture dimensions 45 x 28 cm (height, width).
