The small frog in plaster comes from the bronze work made by the sculptor Raffaello Romanelli (1856-1928) "heron with frog", located in Montecatini Terme, near Florence. The work, become the symbol of the city, represented a frog from whose mouth came out a splash of water that went to wet the belly of the heron. The frog is considered a symbol of luck and protection.
