Ancient Italian painting from the second half of the 17th century. Oil work on slate, also called Lavagna Stone, difficult to find given the very rare support. Painting of notable pictorial quality depicting a magnificent crucifixion. Christ stands out in the center against a leaden sky, we then recognize the Madonna on the left, St. John the Evangelist on the right and Magdalene at the foot of the cross. It has an acronym at the bottom right under study. 20th century frame in carved wood, with some signs of aging. Overall, it is in an excellent state of conservation. Painting light H 55 x W 44 cm.
