English Victorian oil lamp structure

English oil lamp structure from the turn of the 19th to the 20th century in silver plate by Hinks & Son Birmingham. It has a square base and an urn/trophy shaped body. In the mid-19th century, the two Hinks brothers opened the oil lamp manufacturing company in Birmingham, for which they always designed great innovations (such as new keys to improve their use, the duplex burner and the fire extinguisher...). In 1873 the company took the name of Hinks&Son, until 1905 when the father died and the business was re-registered by his son. In 1920 the company was sold to new owners. The structure has discreet holes and predisposition for electrification, ready to be used as a modern lamp.
