Heavy glass bedside lamp by Peill & Putzler, 1960s

In the 1960s the famous German lighting brand launched a whole series of small "ice" glass lamps on the market. The name was the most appropriate, because each of them, despite the variety of forms, had a common denominator. They looked like they were made of ice. This alone gave an unexpected aesthetic effect. Glass produced by the famous Waltherglas crystal factory, lamp produced for the French market. The lamps are small but heavy and shine on the thick, jagged edges of the ice. The effect is unique, unfortunately it is not fully reflected in our photos. It's much better in real life. Please believe me. The lamp is in perfect condition. It lights up with a small threaded bulb i.e. E14.
