Square table in ebonised ash, fitted with a drawer with an inlaid knob The lower cross is fitted with a top also decorated with inlays The construction of this table was carried out according to data acquired from the original drawing owned by the Hunterian Art Gallery, Glasgow University. It was intentionally designed to be placed at the foot of the bed in the Main-Bedroom of the Hill House, where in fact it accompanies the famous high-backed chair of the same name.
