Esse Table by De Corsu-De Pas-D'Urbino-Lomazzi for Acerbis, 1970s

“Esse” table designed by De Corsu - De Pas - D'Urbino - Lomazzi for ACERBIS in 1969. The table is called this because the point that allows it to open is not straight, as on all tables produced until 1969, but with an "S" shape which gives it a wonderful sense of movement and dynamism. Made with a satin stainless steel base, extendable top in light walnut veneer and extractable central element in bright orange. Labels present under the top. It is in excellent vintage condition with some signs of aging as shown in the photographs. Literature: Domus 488 (July 1970), advertising; Casa Amica 09/14/1971, p.62; Giuliana Gramigna, Repertorio 1950-1980, Mondadori, Milan, 1985, p. 296.
