Dresser-desk with folding top and three large wavy drawers on the front.
Venetian legs and lower frame are completely hand carved.
All frames are made with walnut,
i.e. wood worked transversally to the trunk of the plant.
Handcrafted in the first half of the 1900s near Venice.
The solid wood is covered with plating
in walnut briar and small inserts in various woods.
The folding top, which can be used as a desk,
comes down and leaves six small drawers in plain sight.
The frame underneath the top is blocked by a hidden hook which,
once opened, it lets slide into a secret compartment
with six other drawers inside to keep
keep your documents and precious objects safe.
