Item description
These are an amazing pair of vintage 1970s Murano glass and brass wall sconces designed by Mazzega, a renowned italian murano glassmaker. Each sconce features an elegant cascade of hand-blown murano glass elements in organic, irregular shapes resembling melting icicles. The glass components alternate between amber tones and clear, creating a striking visual contrast that enhances the light diffusion. The warm tones of the amber glass pair beautifully with the brass hardware, adding a luxurious mid-century modern touch. The sconces are mounted with brackets, and their sculptural design makes them both functional and artistic pieces, perfect for sophisticated interior spaces. They are in very good condition overall and in working order, they need two e14 bulbs for each wall sconce.
