Travel desk, late 19th century






Small "Lady" travel desk in rosewood, inlaid with brass, mother of pearl and ivory, restored and polished. Writing surface covered with purple velvet cloth with fire engraving on the perimeter, original from the time, as are the two small glass cups for holding ink and water. Measurements 32.5x23.5xH10 cm French production from the end of the 19th century.
