Wonderful "Fodra" armchair designed by Vico Magistretti and produced by Cassina in the 70s.
The armchair is in the extraordinary version lined with dark brown suede in excellent original condition.
Fodra is a project by Vico Magistretti put into production by Cassina in 1975, elements of session with simple lines and whose name evokes the "flat country", its solid trade and its precious fabrics, transferring the idea of solidity in comfort of the sessions and preciousness in the variety of coatings that ranged from classic canvas to leather, wool and velvet. The armchair, like sofas are composed of modular elements and the coating of feather cushions, fixed by hinges, is removable.
The Flander sofa of Vico Magistretti is a modular system that allows you to add elements, including the corners, to create the sofa of the dimensions you want.
Designed in the 70s for Cassina, it is characterized by deep cushions, rounded edges and massive feet that allow the armchair to "float".
This design is characterized by its simplistic and round edges that can be seen in the form of the padding that underlines the clear structured design. In addition, this armchair was designed to offer maximum comfort thanks to the thick cushions and large sessions.
Practically perfect general conditions, we point out a small stain on one side, practically on the back, which given the very dark color of the skin is practically not seen.
