Decorative elements feature details in bright yellow, purple, and light blue, adding lively touches and a harmonious contrast reminiscent of nature in bloom. Nemeth's graphic style gives the piece a modern, abstract quality while maintaining a strong inspiration from the natural world and Scandinavian textile tradition. Éva Németh (1930-2019) was a Hungarian textile designer, best known for carpets and tapestries. He studied at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design. During the 1970s and 1980s she won textile design awards and was featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Budapest and other European cities. Many of his works feature animal motifs such as birds. His designs were produced by the Ziola company in Hungary and were mainly sold in Scandinavia, especially in Copenhagen.
