Refined Italian painting of the first half of the eighteenth century. Oil work on canvas depicting splendid landscape with a whim of classic ruins and figures. Framework of remarkable pictorial quality attributable to the great Roman painter Andrea Locatelli (1695-1741). At the service of the most important noble families of the city, he devoted himself to allegorical painting, in particular landscapes with ruined architectures (the work is currently not accompanied by Expertise but it is possible to request it upon payment of the related additional costs). Scenographic frame of the twentieth century in finely carved and golden wood, with some signs of the time. Work already restored with Rintelo, replacement of the frame and color recovery in small points. Overall operates in excellent conservative condition. Painted light H 60.5 x L 73.5 cm.
