Gorgeous and majestic brutalist bed entitled "Aurora" the work of the great master sculptor and furniture luciano frigerio, for the homonymous company Frigerio of Desio in 1970 and part of the Ultrabronzo collection99.
Ultrabronzo 99 is a collection of multiples of 99 pieces represented by tested heads made with bronze mergers and full brass stonewares made between 1960 and 1970 by the Frigerio di Desio, therefore very limited.
The bed is complete and composed of a wrought and textured iron arch structure which supports a majestic brutalist high -relief sculpture with a lost wax melting of brass, a work of a stordinary skill and composition technically like a real sculpture.
Frigerio is the manufacturer of furnishings that between the 60s and 80s has been closer to the sense of art and sculpture rather than the rationalism and the minimalism that characterized the design of the time, distinguishing themselves in the creation of artifacts and furnishings of great artistic and technical caliber, with limited edition and this bed is one of the examples, the furniture that becomes sculpture, an example of 99.
It presents itself in excellent condition as per photographs with a wonderful patina of the time given its more than 50 years.
The bed is sold with an original paper authentic released by the heirs of Luciano Frigerio.
