Item description

Madonna with Child Jesus painted in oil on canvas about the middle of 18th century. Oval shape, probably of Sicilian context with double lining of the canvas and small restorations in the color. The frame is made of wood and probably from the same period as the painting, but with the gilding redone. The canvas measures 47/31 cm, including frame 59/43 cm. Canvas has been relined at some point over last 50 years, but cracks on the painting itself are visible
