Francesco Londonio attr., Pastoral scene, 18th century

Great 18th century Italian painting. Oil painting on canvas depicting a wonderful pastoral scene attributable to the Milanese painter Francesco Lombin (the work is currently not accompanied by Expertise, but it is possible to request it upon payment of the related additional costs). He was known for his rural scenes, animated by flocks and peasant figures immersed in a bucolic atmosphere. In fact, the representation is dominated by a rich variety of farm animals, including donkeys, cows, goats and sheep, arranged with wise compositional balance. At the top left we find a young shepherd who rests on the stick and observes his flock. Painted already restored with Rintelo, replacement of the frame and recovery of color in small points. Overall in good conservative state. Work belonging to a couple, see photos and request the block price if still available.
