Great French neoclassical painting of the first half of the eighteenth century. Oil work on canvas depicting splendid female figure with a trompe-l'oeil effect. In fact, the technique used imitates sculpture to create an illusionistic effect and laying it on a pedestal accentuates everything. The woman is dressed with a classic tunic in an attitude that recalls the allegorical representations of a virtue or a divinity, such as flora, goddess of flowers and fertility. Cake of the 20th century in carved and lacquered wood, of beautiful decoration, with some signs of the time. Work already restored with Rintelo, replacement of the frame and color recovery in some places. It has small color falls, overall in good conservative state. Painted light H 265 x L 54 cm.
