P. Sieffert, Female nude, signed oil on canvas, 20th century

Beautiful female naked of the first half of the twentieth century. Oil work on canvas, in the first canvas, signed P. Sieffert, referable to the French painter Paul Sieffert (the work is currently not accompanied by Expertise, but it is possible to obtain it upon payment of the related additional costs). Known precisely for his nudes and portraits he exhibited at the Salon in Paris and also won the prestigious Grand Prix de Rome. The protagonist of the composition is a young woman sitting on a rich fur coat. The woman is caught in a classic and relaxed pose, with her face shot in profile and an absorbed gaze, while the reflection of the mirror adds an interesting game of perspective and depth to the scene. The executive quality is then indisputable, in particular the rendering of the embankment with admirable light effects on the skin is to be underlined. Coeva of the twentieth century in richly carved and golden wood, with some signs of time. The canvas has small color falls (see photo), overall in good conservative state. Painted light H 44.5 x L 53.5 cm.
