Item description
Particular and elegant tea table made of mahogany of the best quality. The upper surface, round in shape, has been shaped with a delicate and refined scalloped line. It has a second comfortable support surface, also round, in the lower part, connected to the legs by straight wooden beams. The legs have a soft saber shape and in the upper part are inlaid with detailed designs of oak leaves. Made in England in a handcrafted manner between 1905 and 1910 in perfect Chippendale style. It shows some signs of wear and a scratch of the time (see photo). Towards the end of the 18th century, an English cabinetmaker named Thomas Chippendale invented a series of furnishing accessories characterized by a unique and refined style, called Chippendale. It is one of the most famous styles born in England and appreciated to this day. The particularity of the Chippendale style concerns above all their origin and therefore, the artistic currents that have influenced their design. Chippendale furniture is manufactured using the highest quality materials and techniques, therefore, it is resistant and durable over time.
