Giovanni De Simone, ceramic art sculpture Italian / Sicilian vase hand-painted and multicolored, from the 1960s. Giovanni De Simone (Palermo, 1930 - Palermo, 1991) was an Italian ceramist, active between Rome and Palermo. The original style of Giovanni De Simone has been defined as a synthesis between the great formal lesson of masters such as Picasso, Matisse, Leger and Klee and elements taken from the folklore and traditions of Sicily.
