Two Dutch Speculaas cookie shapes in wood, 1920s

Pair of wooden molds for making the famous traditional Dutch Speculaas biscuits for Sinterclaas, the Netherlands Santa Claus. The two large decorated wooden elements measure respectively 83x15x2 and 75x12x2. The smaller one represents Sinterclaas smiling in full figure, the large one instead presents him in four mounts of different animals. The objects are perfectly preserved. Two beautiful decorative elements in the Dutch 1930s Christmas style.
