Empire chest of drawers in flamed mahogany and bronze Charles X, 1830

Magnificent French chest of drawers, period around 1830, transition between the Empire style and the Charles X style. Cabinet of excellent cabinetry, built in solid oak with dovetail joints and covered in flamed Caribbean mahogany, all the knobs and friezes are original of the period in gilded bronze. Professionally conservatively restored (you can see 2 restored crevices on the sides) and buffed with shellac, original locks (only one key present and working), the green marble has been completely smoothed and reinforced underneath with a very thin mesh to make it more solid (in any case it did not have any kind of breakage, it was done as a precaution)
