Item description
Mid 19th century Empire style bench. Made of mahogany wood, it has a removable upholstered seat covered with a cream/gold striped fabric. The band around the seat is embellished with 3 friezes and 8 gilded bronze rosettes and is supported by 4 winged lions with mahogany bodies and gilded bronze heads, wings and feet. The state of preservation is excellent.
