Joe armchair by Jonathan de Pas, Donato d'Urbino and Lomazzi for Poltronova, 1970s

On hold

Joe is a large leather armchair designed in 1970 by DePas, D'Urbino, Lomazzi for the Poltronova brand. Hyper-realistic, innovative and with an original design, this armchair in the shape of a baseball glove is the result of the creative genius of the three architects to pay tribute to the legendary American baseball champion Joe Di Maggio. Considered as a work of art, from a simple sports tool it is transformed into a cozy seat with an exuberant and unusual design. The Joe chair features a steel frame, preformed polyurethane padding and a 10 square foot leather cover. Good overall condition, abrasions on seat, wear from age and use, color variations.
