Beautiful English library ladder from the Victorian era, late 19th century, with the mahogany structure and the 3 steps covered in leather with edges with pure gold designs. The 4 legs are turned back. The upper step con be lifted and has a compartment inside while the middle one in addition to raising itself, has the removable compartment as a drawer with greater internal capacity. The conditions, given the era, are excellent, with a healthy and firm structure. The functionality of sliding and opening is very smoth and the three leather surfaces are still intact.
