Item description
French sculpture from the end of the 19th century. Finely chased and gilded bronze object in a single block depicting a young girl in Neoclassical style. Base adorned with brass ring, not original, added during the 20th century (see photo). Vestal of great size and impact, finely detailed, signed on the base (see photo) signature under study. In beautiful patina, shows some signs of wear, overall in good state of preservation.
