Antique Italian painting of the eighteenth century. Work oil on canvas depicting portrait of greek philosopher Democritus of good pictorial hand. Painting of nice size and pleasant decor, missing the frame, for antiquarians and collectors of old paintings. Painting of good dynamism and brightness adorned with decorative elements such as the large globe on the right and the library behind the philosopher (see photo). Painting that has undergone during the XX century an intervention of conservative restoration, re-tinting and color recovery in some points (see photo). Work in the complex in good state of conservation.
