Item description

An interesting model of four mid-century bentwood dining chairs designed by Radomír Hofman for Ton (Thonet's successor in Czechoslovakia after World War II). They were made in the former Czechoslovakia in the 1960s. The chairs are made of bent plywood, have a beechwood frame and are upholstered in fabric. An interesting example of Czechoslovak design after the great success of the Czechoslovak pavilion at Expo 58 in Brussels. The chairs are in overall good vintage condition, show signs of age and use, the upholstery has some defects in the fabric. The price is for the set of 4. Seat height: 44 cm
