Antique Italian painting from the beginning of the 18th century. Oil on canvas work, in first canvas, depicting religious subject San Magno in armor of good pictorial hand. Painting that develops vertically, of great size and impact, for antiquarians, interior designers and collectors of ancient sacred art. There is a reference to the saint in the lower left corner and a dating under study (see photo). Piedmontese saint linked to the Sanctuary of Castelmagno, protector of the countryside and animals, depicted with banner and in armor of the Theban legion (see photo). Wooden and plaster frame, not contemporary, carved and gilded, with small wooden shelf in the lower part. Frame applied and fixed frontally to the canvas (see photo) which makes the dating not visible. Work in first canvas that has undergone a conservative restoration, cleaning and color recovery in some points (see photo). In good condition, frame with some signs of time.
