Item description
English Victorian table in solid mahogany belonging to the early 19th century. The solid mahogany top is supported by a peculiar foot nicknamed "cestello" or "baffo". The feet, typical of the period with a leaf motif, rest on porcelain castors of the same period. A particular crank mechanism allows it to reach a length of 4 metres. General condition: Unrestored but in excellent condition. Provenance: England (1830-40). Measurements: 145X145 H76cm + 2 extensions of 62cm original of the time.
