Pair of Italian post-modern armchairs designed by Gaetano Pesce for Cassina in the 1980s. The armchairs are the famous 1987 Cannaregio model. The pair consists of an armchair without armrests and a second armchair complete with two armrests. The fabric of the first armchair is polyester wadding in different colours, while the second armchair has a grey woven cotton weave. The supporting structure of the armchairs is made of multilayer wood. The padding is in polyurethane foam. The cover is removable, in pairs with polyester wadding. Original fabric of the time. The pair of armchairs is ideal for eclectic and very futuristic living rooms. Gaetano Pesce, with his creations, created several debates on themes of great importance, including the support of the diversity of individuals, sensory stimulation through experiences around or inside objects, the problem of the 'badly made'.
