Superb English Queen Anne style mahogany chest of drawers by Waring & Gillow. Built in their Lancaster factory during the George V era, circa 1930. Beautiful mahogany wood with great patina. The top has double doors with internal locks opening onto a large storage cupboard. Underneath are 3 dovetailed drawers each with original double brass pulls. The 2nd drawer features the manufacturers brass plaque, serial number plate and "Waring & Gillow LTD" engraved on the edge. The rear also features the serial number. Structurally sound and robust cabinet. Medium size, ideal for small spaces. We have 2 of these cabinets available, both a very close set. This listing is for 1 cabinet. In very good antique condition, showing small marks consistent with age. All brass handles are original and present. All drawers and brass close flush with the cabinet. Recently waxed and polished by hand Dimensions: 92cm high x 76cm wide x 46cm deep.
