Antique Lombard walnut feather secretaire, refined in every respect. This Louis-Philippe-era (1830/48) Milanese study is covered with one of the most sought-after walnut burls, the highly refined "piuma". In addition to the refined material, the exterior is characterised by the groove moulding of the upper drawer. While internally the eight-drawer cabinet is complete and important, also offering a central "open" compartment. It is also equipped with two distinct and well-integrated secrets, the interiors of the drawers are all in walnut and the locks are original. The beautiful and practical dimensions make it an extremely versatile piece of furniture.
