Modular bookcase Mod. F54 by Renato Forti for MC SELVINI

The F54, designed by Renato Forti in 1954, was created with the intention of making the library a piece of furniture "at the service" of a burning reader and therefore able to grow both in height and width (even one level at a time) to accommodate new books, without the intervention of a specialized assembler. The bookcase was then designed as a shelf: flat and cross-shaped sides, to be assembled without screws or glue. All components are made of a thick layer of beech plywood.
