Item description
Two-drawer chest of drawers with a frame panelled in exotic woods and inlaid with precious woods, surmounted by a French red marble top, first half of the 18th century. The front is punctuated by two raised drawers arranged on two tracks, both graphically underlined by two rounds of threading. A beautiful lozenge-shaped reserve inlaid internally frames the metal vents, handle with knuckles, small apron in herringbone panelling. On the sides the lozenge is repeated, obtained by a skilful combination of precious woods on the walnut-root mirroring. Typical truncated pyramid feet ennobled by fillets arranged at the top to emphasise the corners. Condition: Restored by our master craftsmen using the traditional handmade shellac and alcohol method. Provenance: 18th century Naples. Measurements: 122x62 H97cm. Document: Certificate of Authenticity. Assistance: We are at your disposal for further clarifications or photographic details
