Item description
M'HORÒ sculpture depicting the American flag ( International flags of M'HORÒ) made from recycled metal materials, specifically from an old aluminium radiator element, ingeniously twisted and deformed. M'HORÒ, the faceless artist. The questions about M'Horò's identity are many and all open: is he male or female? White or coloured? Asian or European, or South American? Defined as Mirò's heir, associated with Henry Moore, the Moor of Milan or rather the Moors of Venice. His absence, his not being there, creates a great deal of expectation around him. The artist makes these strategic choices by contrasting himself with the visibility, perhaps even excessive visibility, with which many artists surround themselves, desperately trying to stand out, to advertise their work. M'HORÒ does not want to reveal itself, does not want to propagandise itself, leaving this task to its works. For this reason, he entrusts his archive with all the care of his image. Unique work complete with archive certificate and cataloguing.
