This hall coat stand was made in the former Czechoslovakia in the 1960s and manufactured by DREVOTVAR. Material: plywood, wood, leatherette, metal. It can be mounted on the wall or rest freely on the floor. It is a characteristic example of Czechoslovakian furniture design in relation to the so-called Brussels period. This period began with the great success of the Czechoslovak pavilion at the world famous EXPO in Brussels in 1958. The coat stand is in very good original condition.
