Round dining table by Sandro Petti for Maison Jansen, France, 1970s. From an octagonal brass and chrome base, four enormous columns rise to support the imposing round top, illuminated by a neon light hidden inside. The opening in the centre offers the possibility of adding plants, or it can be decorated with a crown formed by four pyramids or closed with a panel. Sandro Petti was an avant-garde architect who worked exclusively with artists and designers such as Romeo Rega and Enrico Manera. His work was recognised in 1977 at the Salone del Mobile with images in Casa Vogue.
