Tomtom table with 6 chairs in the shape of a flower, 1960s

The TomTom cardboard collection was created by British designer Bernard Holdaway and launched to great acclaim at the 1966 Ideal Home Exhibition. The range included chairs, tables and circular lamps covered in eye-catching colors and a glossy finish. The collection was made of particle board, steel pins and cardboard tubes, originally designed for concrete pours in highway construction. One original cushion is missing. In good vintage condition, shows signs of age and use. Includes original label. Chairs: height 73 cm, width 48 cm, length 48 cm. Seat height: 38 cm.
